We’re Very Excited About Your Family Joining Us For A Week of Food, Fun, and Adventure!

In order for you to know what to expect for the week, I’d like to give you an overview of the many activities we have planned.

Location

All activities will take place at the Rhema Word Outreach Church Campus.

21342 Capital Avenue NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017 (M-66 North)

When you arrive at the Rhema Word Campus, we’d like you to drive around the left side of the building where the big parking lot is. Most people find that coming in our second driveway, which is farthest away from town, is easier to use to go into the big parking lot. Once there, you will enter with your children through the main entrance that has a big canopy over it.

Times

6:00 PM – 8:30 PM. Monday, July 12th – Friday, July 16th.

Friday is our Friends and Family Night. There will be several giveaways and adventure activities for the parents/guardians to participate with the kids. Your whole family and even your friends are invited to get in on the fun and fellowship. There will be plenty of food for everyone so come hungry.

10:30 AM Sunday Morning Kids Service

Parents, guardians, and friends are all invited. We will all be meeting in the main sanctuary for this event. The kids participate in the service. There will be drawings for bicycles.  So please come… your child may win a FREE bicycle.  How cool is that!

What To Expect Each Night...

Every night the kids will start out in a big group where there will be songs for them to sing and dance to. After that, they will be split up by age group so that they can have fun with their peers.

There are four groups that will rotate between four stations. Each station listed below has a different way that the kids will have fun!

Food & Science

Each day we will have a full meal and drinks for your children. If they have allergies or other concerns, please let us know at registration and we’ll note it for our staff.

The kids will also get to do fun science experiments.

Games & Outside Activities

Weather permitting, we will be conducting fun activities out in the yard area. The kids are encouraged to wear their play clothes. Sunscreen and bug spray should be applied prior to being dropped off. It’s not unusual for them to come home with grass stains and wet clothes because of water activities. Bathing suits and towels are a must when requested.

Crafts

Each day your child will get to build engaging take-home crafts. They will be excited to show you their creations and will want you to take them home with you.

At the end of each day after you’ve checked out your children, you’ll be able to go to the designated craft tables to pick up their creations to take them home with you.

Bible Time

This is where your kids get to see stories from the Bible reenacted in a way that captivates them and helps them understand things from the Bible.

Closing Assembly

At the end of each night, the kids will be brought back together for a final song and a contest before being dismissed.

Your Kids Safety Is Our Priority

Each evening you’ll be checking your children in when you arrive and checking them out when you leave.

When you pick up your children at the end of the day’s activities, our monitors will use barcodes to check kids out each day. Only people that have the matching barcodes will be allowed to pick up those children. If you need to authorize a spouse more guardians for pickup you should do so at check-in.

If you don’t have a barcode that matches our records… you’ll not be able to pick any children up until you can prove who you are. Safety is very important to us and we want everyone to come and go safely and have a great time at our event.
